How does one welcome people to a site meant advertising his music? By telling you he did not perform all that much at this summer of course! Yet, this site is the way I am going to keep you apprised of my exploits as a singer/songwriter among other things… And we, singer/songwriters, are supposed to be honest.

With that said, this is the first summer I have not performed at least thirty times since I have been permitted to purchase alcohol legally. Whether it was rocking out in Houston with Chase, touring with Hazy Ray, noodling with Megan Ochoa (Future Us), providing harmonic content to Rad the Remedy and company, or crooning lonesome in the corner of local coffee shops and whiskey bars, I have spent a months worth of evenings during the most festive season of the year doing what I love for 12 consecutive years.

What, pray tell, would keep me from the thing I love to do most in this world? The thing I love most in this world, my brand new daughter! She is nearly 7 months old and a joy in my life! My family now motivates everything I do, as it should have before. What can I say, I have always been the last to the party. Alas, I have arrived! Late, in love, and looking for a way to make what I love to do contribute to who I love the most. As In all things, I will figure it out!

Since this is supposed to be about music, let me hit that real quick. I am currently in the middle of the first project (working title: Lust Story) in a trilogy of EPs to open up my journey as a singer/songwriter. “Life Story” & “Love Story” will follow behind before I consider my approach to the first LP. Scott Graves (Gravy, formerly of Burris) and Oliver Watkinson (formerly of Ghandi Castle) are the primary players on ‘Lust’. They will be joined by Willie McCullen (Hazy Ray, If you have to ask, formerly of Aftershow) & Sean Rodriguez (Hazy Ray, If You Have To Ask, Conglomerate, Annika Chambers) and others to be named later.
